With dendora® by EPS, we offer a new generation of mobile data centers that meet the highest IT requirements. dendora combines the modularity and flexibility of a container with the performance and security of a high-end edge data center, and its wooden design makes it both sustainable and energy-efficient.
dendora® is unique because its entire development is based on sustainability in all areas: from renewable and CO2-binding wood to cooling with free cooling and the use of natural refrigerants using propane or other sustainable refrigerants.
What does the name “dendora®” mean?
The name comes from “dendrology”, the science of trees. “Dendron” means “tree” and symbolizes nature, growth and sustainability. Perfect for our modern server room container, made of the purest wood – a wooden data center with a focus on efficient and sustainable IT infrastructure.”

The use of 100% wood from Austria as a renewable building material reduces CO₂. In addition, wood contributes to the regulation of moisture, compensates for temperature fluctuations and has a sound-absorbing effect. This means that dendora® meets the requirements for sustainable data centers as well as ESG criteria.
Using waste heat as a resource – creating sustainable added value
Waste heat is not a waste product, but a valuable source of energy. Used correctly, it makes a decisive contribution to the energy transition and increases value creation for operators, municipalities and energy suppliers, with a measurable contribution to ESG performance. dendora® offers the optional option of heat recovery and thus transforms into a real power plant.
100% regional wood
The wood for our dendora comes from our partner "binderholz" - a third-generation family business and full-service provider of solid wood solutions. According to the zero-waste principle , binderholz processes the raw material completely. PEFC-certified wood is a regionally available raw material with excellent building physics properties. Wood stores CO₂ and can be reused or ecologically recycled after use.
