Maria Anzbach, April 24, 2025 – EPS Electric Power Systems GmbH, a leading company in the planning, construction and maintenance of individual server room solutions, UPS systems and emergency power solutions, is pleased to host its first Girls’ Day. This event offers young girls the opportunity to gain an insight into the exciting world of data center infrastructure and electrical engineering and to find out about career opportunities.
After the official welcome by Eva Schulmeister, from Personal & Office Management, and Peter Reisinger, Managing Director of EPS, the participants on Girls’ Day will have the opportunity to take part in various workshops and presentations. In addition to the apprenticeship as an electrical engineer, the areas of service and maintenance, project management and sales are introduced to the participants. In the process, they gain their first practical experience and learn more about the importance of safety power supplies such as UPS systems and emergency power generators, as well as about the complex infrastructure of modern data centers.
“We are proud to give young girls the opportunity to discover their interests and talents in electrical engineering and in the field of innovative data center solutions,” says Peter Reisinger. “Our goal is to inspire, excite and sustainably promote the next generation of engineers and technicians.”
Girls’ Day is an important step in arousing interest in technical professions and promoting diversity in the industry.
