“Helios” Energy Efficiency Award: EPS Electric Power Systems Named Top 4
Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce honours the best companies in Lower Austria
Maria Anzbach, on 28. June 2016 – For the fifth time, the energy efficiency award “Helios” was awarded by the Lower Austrian Chamber of Commerce and the best companies were presented to the public at a festive gala. The prize is awarded to Lower Austrian companies that achieve special achievements in the areas of energy saving, energy efficiency, renewable energies, mobility and awareness-raising. The evaluation is primarily based on ecological and economic criteria, but also on the basis of social impacts.
EPS Electric Power Systems, a provider of energy-efficient IT data center infrastructures and UPS (uninterruptible power supply) systems, was selected by the jury as one of the top 4 best companies in the category 10 to 49 employees. The award was given for the renovation of the company’s own building in Groß Gerungs, in which a modern and innovative working environment was created using local resources, combined with high IT availability and energy efficiency.
