Early fire detection in the data center
The VESDA VLP is the central element of the VESDA product range for early fire detection. Due to its unique suction technology, the VLP has an alarm sensitivity in the range of 0.005%–20% light attenuation/m. Through a network of intake pipes, the high-performance intake fan sucks air into the VLP. Each intake pipe has an airflow sensor that monitors the change in airflow in the pipes. The sucked-in air is blown out again below the VLP and can be returned to the protected area.
Smoke aspiration system for IT, production halls, warehouses
Inside the VLP, an air sample is fed into the laser detection chamber. Ultra-fine air filtration creates very clean air to protect the optical surfaces inside the detector from contamination. The detection chamber uses a stable Class 1 laser light source and carefully positioned sensors to achieve an optimal response to a wide range of different types of smoke. The status of the detector as well as all alarms, maintenance and fault events are transmitted via the VESDAnet to displays and other external systems or systems. modules.
Fire protection system VESDA
The VESDAnet communication ring provides a robust, bidirectional communication network between the devices and enables continuous operation even in the event of communication errors by the connected participants in VESDAnet. Furthermore, it enables the programming of the systems and participants from a central location and forms the basis of the modular VESDA system.
AutoLearn™ VLP Technology Fire Protection
VLP technology uses unique software tools to ensure optimal operation in a wide range of environmental conditions. Autolearn monitors the immediate environment and sets the most favorable alarm thresholds (info alarm, pre-alarm, main alarm 1 and main alarm 2) during commissioning to ensure the earliest possible warning of a potential fire situation and reduce false alarms.
