What is an External Bypass Switch?
The EBS (External Bypass Switch) 3000 WFC is an external mechanical bypass switch that allows you to physically remove your UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supply) system from the system during operation. A selector switch allows you to switch between UPS power and normal mains power without interrupting the power. This has the advantage that the UPS system can be easily removed.
How is the UPS bypass switch installed?
The EBS3000WFC is integrated into a wall-mounted housing. The mains supply cable and the consumer discharge (load) are connected to the built-in terminal blocks. The UPS supply and the UPS system outlet line are connected to the two integrated C19 and C20 connectors with the enclosed power cables / PCS Power Cable Sets.
