External UPS bypass circuit
What is an External UPS Bypass Switch?
The EBS (External Bypass Switch) 6000-WFF-S is an external mechanical bypass switch (EBS). It makes it possible to physically remove the UPS system from the system during operation. The position “1” is the UPS position, which means that the load is supplied by the UPS system. In the “2” position (bypass service), the consumers and the UPS system are supplied with mains voltage (normal current). Finally, at the “3” position (bypass), the UPS input (UPS feed) is de-energized and the consumers are supplied with mains voltage (normal current).

It can be switched between UPS power and normal mains power through this selector switch. This means that consumers are still supplied and the UPS system can be easily expanded. The mains supply cable and the consumer discharge (load) are finally connected to the built-in terminal blocks
The external bypass is located in an enclosure. The mains supply line, consumer and UPS system are connected to terminal blocks in the housing.
