Data Center Leak Warning System for Liquids
The FG-A leakage warning system as a supplement to protection systems for building surveillance. The monitoring of air conditioning and heating systems in data centres, server and technical rooms, storage, tank, pump, battery rooms, etc. are the main areas of application of the FG-A leak warning system. Immediate alarm when the sensor cable comes into contact with water, acids or hydrocarbons can detect hazards at an early stage and prevent major damage in good time. TTK’s FG-A leakage warning system can be easily evaluated or integrated into a higher-level building management system via potential-free relay contacts that switch in the event of an alarm. In the event of an alarm, the warning light remains active until the fault is eliminated and the off button is pressed. As long as there is a malfunction, only the acoustic alarm can be extinguished, the warning light remains active. FG-A complies with CE regulations with standards EN61000-6-2 / EN61000-6-3/EN61000-3-2/EN61000-3-3.
Server Room Leak Detection with FG-A
Easy detection of the liquid leak in the IT or server room without localizing the leak. TTK’s FG-A system has 3 LED indicators and 2 configurable output relays. The FG-A alarm unit is a simple leak detection without localization. FG-A can control up to 15 meters of sensor cables. Visual and audible indicators on the front panel also allow easy identification of the fault type (leak or cable defect). Two 0V contact relays offer numerous signal transmission and centralized monitoring options.
The FG-A alarm unit is designed for use with TTK ANALOGUE SENSOR CABLES – FG-ECS, FG-ECX, FG-ACS and FG-ACX – to immediately detect liquid leaks (water, acid or base). Available in wall-mounted or frame versions.
Sensor cables for leak detection
The FG-A control unit is used with sensor cables to detect water, alkali, acid or hydrocarbon leaks. This system is ideal for use in sensitive and critical areas such as computer rooms, warehouses, production warehouses or data centers. Liquid contact with the measuring cable triggers an acoustic and visual alarm.
A cable fault is also reported by the leakage detection system. 3 light-emitting diodes signal the status of the system:
- Red signals leakage
- Yellow signals a cable malfunction
- Green signals readiness for operation
- In the event of leakage or cable malfunction, an alarm tone sounds
- Control unit FG-A is supplied with 12, 24 or 230V
- 2 potential-free contacts (changeovers) allow separate further processing of information about leakage or operational readiness
