Siemon Category 8.2 S/FTP connection and data cables at 2000 MHz meet today’s requirements and the growing need for ever faster data transfers from smart devices. Category 8.2 cabling system supports copper-based Power over Ethernet (PoE). The cabling system is backwards compatible with Category 7A and 7 components and everything below.

The maximum cable length is 30 meters – the cable is suitable for IEEE 802.3bq 25 Gb/s (25GBASE-T) and 40 Gb/s (40GBASE-T) applications in the IT sector. The cable is completely shielded with a metal foil and wire mesh – and with an outer sheath as additional noise shielding and shielding against external interference.
