UPS Management Features
The graphic LCD display allows information on the condition of the UPS system and the measurement data to be read clearly and easily understandable. All measurement data can also be accessed via the included Intelligent Power Management software. To extend battery life for critical devices, less important devices can be shut down by the load segregation control. If the entire system is rebooted, the load segments can be started with a delay, which allows a sequential start.
UPS Efficiency and Performance
Thanks to an optimized electrical design, the Eaton 5P UPS has achieved an efficiency of 98%. In addition, a high-quality output voltage is achieved (pure sine wave). To provide the best performance in all input scenarios, the tolerance and sensitivity of the input voltage window of the Eaton 5P UPS can be defined by yourself.
Tower / Rack Version
The Eaton 5P UPS is available both as a stand-up (tower) model and as a rack version. In the rack version, a power density of up to 1.1kW can be achieved in just one height unit (1U). The ABM® technology used by Eaton extends the life of the UPS batteries by up to 50%. The Eaton 5P UPS also allows the batteries to be hot-swapped during operation.
Communication options
Communication options are available in a variety of ways. USB and serial ports are available by default. An extension of communication via network, relay or Modbus is possible at any time via additional cards for the communication slot. Furthermore, the UPS is delivered with Eaton’s license-free Intelligent Power Suite. This allows servers to be shut down in an orderly manner in the event of a power failure, and all functions of the UPS system 5P can also be monitored.
