Online Double Conversion UPS
With experience in power management and constant innovation, the Eaton Server Room and Data Center UPS 9395P offers an excellent combination of voltage protection, battery management, scalability, flexibility, power density, warranty and UPS service. It’s an online double-conversion UPS that eliminates common grid supply issues and provides uninterrupted and clean coverage of all your critical IT equipment. The UPS system from 250kVA to 1200kVA is ideal for a branch office, a manufacturing area, a medical facility, industrial plants or a large data center. It offers active power factor correction (PFC) in the UPS input with IGBT rectifier technology. As a result, it achieves a harmonic distortion factor of only 3 – 5 % THD(i) and an input power factor of almost 1 – the overall efficiency does not suffer as a result. The high efficiency – up to 95% – reduces electricity costs and extends the performance life of the UPS batteries. The higher system efficiency provides a cooler environment, reducing space cooling costs and extending the life of UPS components.
Increased UPS availability in the data center
Increased reliability, availability and performance with the Eaton UPS system in the server room. The UPS 9395P features Advanced Battery Management (ABM™). The ABM™ charges the batteries only when necessary, thus increasing the service life of the UPS batteries. This concept ensures a much longer life of the UPS batteries. With the patented HotSync® parallel connection process, the Powerware 9395P UPS offers an integrated redundancy system. This saves you costs for the delivery, installation and cabling of a parallel system that would otherwise have to be provided separately.
Remote UPS Monitoring
The UPS 9395 comes with the Eaton 9395 UPS software suite, which allows you to monitor and manage your utility network, and optionally shut down servers or workstations on a network. Various interface options meet almost every conceivable communication requirement, from a simple serial interface to secure remote monitoring over the Internet with SNMP web interfaces.
UPS Bypass Switch EPS
In server rooms and data centers, EPS UPS systems are always installed with the appropriate UPS bypass switch and the recommended IT server room surge protection. This ensures the required overall safety and availability. In IT data centers, almost only fault-tolerant and expandable modular power supply solutions are being installed. This increases the growth in the server room or data center. As an accessory for the Eaton UPS System 9395, we recommend the EBS (External Bypass Switch). The EBS is an external mechanical bypass switch that allows the UPS system or UPS modules to be physically removed from the system during operation. A selector switch can be used to switch between UPS power and normal mains power, which means that the consumers are still supplied and the UPS system can be easily expanded. This means that UPS systems can be replaced during operation or UPS systems can be set up at other locations. No server shutdown is necessary!
