A compact mini data center in a 19" server cabinet
The space-saving Rack RZ, a small data center, offers high availability and reliability at low operating costs. EPS’s small data center resembles an edge data center, where the consumer only has to take over the provision of the server. The rest of the IT infrastructure is already installed in the compact 19″ server cabinet and is therefore “turnkey” for operation.
The rack data center meets the requirements of information technology in the areas of IT power supply, IT air conditioning and technical fire protection. It can be individually equipped as required.

The equipment of the rack data center
The RACK data center solution can be equipped with redundant, f-gas-free air conditioning in different cooling capacity levels. On special customer request, cooling can be carried out with or without redundancy, but this can significantly increase the risk of overheating of the interior. Other optional features include active fire detection and firefighting, monitoring of system components through network-compatible monitoring, IT UPS protection and much more.
All in all, all the infrastructure components that characterize a complete data center can be integrated in a variety of ways.
The IT cooling of the RACK RZ is provided by a system consisting of chiller / chiller generator, inner part and pipe/hose connections. For reasons of reliability, the cooling should be redundant. The design described above ensures that the RACK RZ is smoke-tight between the interior and its surroundings.
