EPS Server Room Complete Solution for Max Aicher Group

The Max Aicher Group, headquartered in Freilassing, operates in 18 countries with around 4,500 employees in the business areas of steel, environment, construction, real estate and leisure.
The IT department at the headquarters in Freilassing currently supports 65 companies and 16 locations worldwide. To ensure that digital processes and state-of-the-art technologies continue to run with high availability in the future, the IT infrastructure had to be adapted and expanded. After an initial modernization of the server room at the Freilassing site, IT manager Helmut Berger once again opted for the full-service data center provider EPS.

Initially, the company headquarters in Freilassing had a small server room with air conditioning and power supply. In the course of adding storeys to new office space, the need for
of a state-of-the-art data center. The new server room features the safest room at the entire site. Within a few weeks, a full-fledged data center was created with an early fire detection system (RAS smoke aspiration system), a fire prevention system, fault-tolerant UPS systems (uninterruptible power supply including UPS battery) and redundant air conditioning. The cabling has also been completely replaced in accordance with the latest standards.

Helmut Berger underlines the professional cooperation and solution-oriented approach of the entire EPS team: “We were impressed by EPS’s way of working. Flood 2024: Container solution from EPS secures IT operations at Würth Austria

After the devastating flood in Lower Austria in 2024, the IT infrastructure of the Würth branch in Böheimkirchen came to a complete standstill. With a container solution from EPS Electric Power Systems deployed at short notice, operations were quickly restored and a second data center was set up in the long term.

TEST-FUCHS modernizes server infrastructure with the support of EPS Electric Power Systems

The internationally active family-owned company TEST-FUCHS has comprehensively renewed its IT infrastructure at its headquarters in Groß-Siegharts. The central measure was the construction of a modern, high-availability on-premise server room including new servers, storage systems and network solutions. The project was implemented by the Lower Austrian company EPS Electric Power Systems GmbH, a leading provider of complete data center and power supply solutions.
