1998
Founding of EPS Electric Power Systems GmbH
EPS was founded in 1998 by owner and managing director, Josef Frühwirth. In the beginning, the focus was only on power supply solutions. Over the next few years, the portfolio expanded more and more to form a complete solution for IT infrastructures, server rooms and power supplies.

Energy-efficient office building and Climate Alliance operation
We moved the office of the branch in Groß Gerungs to a modern building including a photovoltaic system and our own small server room. This construction project was awarded a nomination for the “Helios” energy efficiency award in 2015. Today, the sales and technical department of EPS Modern Electric is housed there. In 2010, we were also awarded the title of Climate Alliance company.

Founding of EPS Rechenzentrum Infrastruktur GmbH, Bavaria
We expanded our locations with the branch in Germany and founded EPS Rechenzentrum Infrastruktur GmbH with its current headquarters in Straubing (Bavaria).

Quality management according to DIN ISO 9001:2015
The highlight of 2016 was the successful ISO 9001:2015 certification of our companies. In addition, we are also certified according to TQMi (integral Total Quality Management). In this way, we guarantee the highest quality for our customers.

WHP seal of approval "Workplace Health Promotion"
Further awards were not only given in the areas of e-mobility, the compatibility of family and career and energy efficiency, but also in 2017 EPS was awarded as a “healthy” company for the first time as part of the WHP (Workplace Health Promotion).

This year, we received the State Seal of Approval as a sign of the compatibility of family and career in the company.

Opening of the energy-efficient office and warehouse building, Dietmanns
At the new company headquarters, the team has a four-storey building with a total usable area of over 2,000 square metres at its disposal. During construction, special attention was paid to sustainability and innovation, not only with the water-brine heat pump heating. Thanks to the in-house photovoltaic system on the walls and roof, more energy is produced than consumed on an annual average and a large rainwater tank provides cooling and serves as extinguishing water.
