WHP seal of approval for healthy farms
In March 2026, EPS Electric Power Systems received the extension of the seal of approval for workplace health promotion from the Austrian Health Insurance Fund Lower Austria – for the fourth time. EPS has been part of workplace health promotion for almost 10 years. This year, the WHP seal of approval of the Austrian Health Insurance Fund was awarded for the 4th time. The family-owned company is very proud of this, because a healthy workplace is very important to EPS.
Both locations awarded
The Austrian Health Insurance Fund Lower Austria looks after the locations in Maria Anzbach and Groß Gerungs.
The seal of approval is an award from the “Austrian Network for Workplace Health Promotion” and is awarded to those companies that demonstrably invest in the health of their employees. In order to receive the seal, specific quality criteria must be met – including health promotion measures, active involvement of employees and a special innovative spirit in dealing with the topic of work and well-being. Another criterion is the particular innovative spirit of the respective company. The purpose is to certify a company’s health orientation and make it publicly visible.

Almost 10 years of WHP at EPS: a little history
EPS has been part of the Austrian WHP network for almost ten years. What began as a project is now an integral part of the corporate culture. Over the years, numerous measures have been implemented and further developed – from ergonomic workplaces to offers for exercise and relaxation.
Health at work – what colleagues say
What good are measures if no one notices them? With EPS, WHP is not decreed from above, but designed together. “The flexible working hours help me to better reconcile work and family,” says Verena Bröderbauer, Sales & Support.
