This means that the device sockets can be used flexibly and easily in a wide variety of applications. Despite the slim design, connected cables are effectively protected and held securely in the IEC Slim Lock socket. The patented locking system thus ensures a high level of security in IT environments.

Pull-off protection for standard IEC cables

When lockable C13 or C19 IEC sockets are installed in devices or PDUs, no special plugs or additional technical adjustments are required to establish a pull-proof connection. Standard IEC cables are sufficient.

Even a normal IEC cable with a C14 or C20 connector activates the integrated locking mechanism and thus sits firmly and securely in the socket. IEC Slim Lock sockets have proven themselves not only in the data center sector, but also in medical technology, motorsports, TV and film productions, broadcast and military environments.
